The Company was established in 1979 by Jan Madori, who saw a need for an alternative way for decorating homes and business other than galleries. She thought what better way to buy art than a warm, welcoming art show with friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors coming together to view beautiful paintings in the comfort of their own homes. She also saw it as a convenient way for decorating home and business and see how various artwork can enhance their office décor. In addition to this "walking art gallery" concept, Jan's aspiration was to provide entrepreneurial-minded individuals with financial backing and the resources necessary to learn how to run a business and build a retirement package for themselves.
